THE POWER OF THE MIDNIGHT (PART ONE)

  Midnight prayers are very necessary because of the magnitude of sacrifice attached to it. Many believers prefer day-time prayers to midnight prayers because there isn't any much sacrifice it carries except the time spent in it. But midnight prayers don't just deal with time alone but what time or hour of the night is it being carried out? Midnight prayers are very crucial and serious prayers offered by believers during the late hours of the night starting from 11:30pm to 4am. This time of the  night is what is referred to as midnight and any prayer offered during this period is a powerful one and works many wonders. It was at midnight that PAUL and SILAS prayed in Acts 16:25-31 and you saw what happened. THE CALL UNTO PRAYER

Since creation began, it has been God's desire and agenda to establish a healthy, sweet and constant fellowship or Communion with man and this has been happening in Eden until the fall of man. Bible said "in the cool of the day, they'll hear the voice of God walking in the garden". It means, God comes down to man's level to always communion with the man till the man fell. The "voice of God walking" is proof that God comes to school the man who hasn't yet attained to God's class and realm of life and government. Man hasn't known everything yet till he grows to a level before. This was why God was coming to man always to school the man and grow or mature him to His (God's) level before. Just as the Book of Revelation says "behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears MY voice and opens the door unto ME, I will come unto him and dine with him and he with ME". 

This means, God will come down to the man's level and through constant intimacy (dinning), He will bring the man to His level (realm) for the man now to begin to live fully as God on earth. This is why, scripturally, Jesus Christ was the first Man (full man) to come on earth. It is after Him that the entire generation of man was now invited to that stage or realm of becoming God on earth through intimacy always. 

So God's main desire was for the man to live with Him, stay with Him, till the man becomes like God on earth through prayer to be able to establish God's counsel, Kingdom and will on earth as Jesus Christ taught the church to pray. There's no way we can talk to God except through this only available means called PRAYER.
